We gave closed the survey on CDS citizens’ satisfaction, with a turnout of slightly over 1/3 pf the population answering the survey.

There is a forum thread for discussion of the survey data, but let’s publish here immediately for reference a resume of the results.

Exhibition on Roman architecture by Symo Kurka at the School

To help the future residents of Locus Amoenus (and the current residents of Colonia Nova) to develop their roman houses, Symo Kurka has prepared an exhibition – “79 AD: Roman Houses Back to Real” – of amazing pictures of 3D modellings of roman buildings from Pompeii and Herculaneum. Fundraising Auction a success!

The Fundraising auction we did on the 8th June (extending into the 9th due to technical complications with service) was a major success! This year, we were able to gather more than L$34k, which allows for the payment of the school tier for well over a year.

Many thanks to Rose and all who helped her organize it, as well to everyone who gave items for donation and everyone who bidded!

New Biergarten!

We have replaced the old biergarten which was excessively primmy and which had not correct permissions or groups by a new one. We tried to keep the exterior of the new one as close as possible of the old one, while solving some old issues. Party to inaugurate it soon!

Altenstadt Redeployment on the go!

After the RA of 7th June approved the plan of Sleasy Writer’s, works already started. Buildings present were removed and a slight terraforming was made. Atm, we are completing the garden and pond, after having laid out the roads, the parcels and created a scenic arch on the walls that one day will link to NFS-East.

Locus Amoenus approved by the RA

In the last two sessions of the RA (1st and 7th June), the maps, numbers and convenants for our 4th sim were approved, as well as its official name – Locus Amoenus.

Still pending, the approval of the financial plan for the sim.

Board Heads of Departments Elected

In the last Board Meeting, we voted Sudane Erato as head of the Financial Department of the Board and Rose Springvale as Head of the Admin/Agent Department of the Board. Please refer to our forums for the complete transcript of election.

New Guild Charter 2008 approved

At the RA meeting of June the 7th 2008, the New Guild Charter which you can read in the tag above was approved by a majority of 4-0-0-0.
